1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the GESR website, including www.gesrclinic.lv, as well as the procedures for booking clinic services, cancelling and rescheduling appointments, communicating with patients, providing information about services, and the general terms governing interactions between patients and the clinic.

The website is owned and operated by SIA VIALS, registration number 55403058461, VAT registration number LV55403058461, registered address: Kaivas iela 50 k.4-21A, Riga, LV-1021. Clinic address: Citadeles iela 6 - 23, Riga, LV-1010. Healthcare institution code: 001000029. Telephone: +371 29115248. Email: info@gesrclinic.lv. Website: www.gesrclinic.lv.

By using the website, submitting an enquiry, booking an appointment or contacting the clinic via the website, telephone, messaging applications, social media or email, the patient confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and understand their contents.

GESR reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The current version is published on the website.

2. Use of the Website

The GESR website is intended to provide information about the clinic, its services, specialists, contact details, prices, special offers, appointment booking procedures and other information related to the clinic’s activities.

Users agree to use the website lawfully, not to interfere with its operation, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to its systems, not to submit false enquiries, not to use the website to send spam, and not to copy website materials without GESR’s permission.

All texts, images, photographs, videos, designs, logos and other materials on the website belong to GESR or are used on a lawful basis. Their copying, distribution or commercial use without GESR’s written permission is prohibited.

3. Information About Services

Information about services, procedures, products, effects and possible results is provided on the website for informational purposes only. Such information does not constitute individual medical advice and does not replace a consultation with a doctor or other specialist.

The final decision on whether a procedure can be performed, its scope, method, products to be used and expected outcome is made by the specialist following a consultation and an assessment of the patient’s condition.

A GESR specialist may amend the recommended treatment plan, propose an alternative procedure, postpone a procedure or decline to perform it if there are contraindications, risks to the patient’s health or if the procedure is not suitable for the patient.

4. Appointment Booking

Appointments at GESR can be booked via the website, by telephone, through WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, or in person at the clinic.

Booking telephone number: +371 29115248. Email: info@gesrclinic.lv. Website: www.gesrclinic.lv.

When booking an appointment, the patient may provide their first and last name, telephone number, email address, selected service, preferred appointment date and time, and any other information required to arrange the booking.

An appointment is considered confirmed once the clinic has confirmed it. GESR may contact the patient to clarify the selected service, appointment date and time, contact details, preparation for the procedure, contraindications or other important information.

5. Appointment Confirmation and Reminders

GESR may send the patient an appointment reminder by SMS, WhatsApp, telephone call, email or another communication channel used by the patient when booking.

The patient may be required to confirm their appointment by replying to the clinic’s message. If the patient does not confirm the appointment or does not respond to the clinic’s message, GESR may contact the patient again or check whether the booking is still required.

An appointment reminder is an additional service provided for the patient’s convenience. Failure to receive a reminder does not release the patient from the obligation to attend the appointment at the scheduled time.

6. Arrival at the Clinic

Patients are advised to arrive 5-10 minutes before their scheduled appointment to complete documents, fill in any required forms, sign consent forms and prepare for the visit.

During a first visit to the clinic, the patient may need additional time to complete the necessary documentation.

The patient must bring an identity document.

7. Patients Under the Age of 18

The clinic provides services to patients aged 18 and over.

Patients under the age of 18 may be seen only with the consent of a parent or legal representative, provided that the particular service can be offered to a minor.

For patients under the age of 18, the clinic may request details of the parent or legal representative and confirmation of their consent to the provision of the service.

8. Informed Consent Before a Procedure

Before certain procedures, the patient may be asked to complete a questionnaire, provide information about their health and sign an informed consent form.

The informed consent form may include information about the procedure, possible reactions, risks, contraindications, recommendations before and after the procedure, and confirmation that the patient has received answers to their questions and has provided truthful information about their health.

Signing an informed consent form is an important part of preparation for a medical or aesthetic procedure.

9. Patient’s Obligation to Provide Important Information

The patient must inform the GESR specialist about chronic medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies, medicines being taken, contraindications, recently performed procedures, previous injections, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, laser or device-based procedures, adverse reactions to past procedures, and their current state of health.

If the patient withholds important information or provides inaccurate details, this may affect the safety of the procedure, whether it can be performed and its outcome.

10. Contraindications and Refusal to Perform a Procedure

A GESR specialist may decline to perform a procedure or suggest rescheduling the appointment if there are contraindications, the procedure may be unsafe, the patient has not provided important information, there are signs of inflammation, infection or poor health, the patient is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the patient’s expectations do not correspond to the potential outcome, or the specialist considers the procedure unsuitable.

The decision as to whether a procedure can be performed is made by the specialist after assessing the patient’s condition and all relevant circumstances.

11. Procedure Outcomes

The outcome of a procedure is individual and may depend on the condition of the skin, age, individual characteristics of the body, lifestyle, adherence to recommendations, the selected procedure, the product or method used, and any previous procedures.

GESR does not guarantee identical results for all patients.

Before-and-after photographs show the results achieved by a particular patient and do not guarantee the same outcome for another person.

12. Possible Reactions After Procedures

Temporary reactions may occur after procedures, including redness, swelling, sensitivity, bruising, discomfort, dryness, peeling, changes in skin sensitivity or other individual reactions.

If a reaction is severe, prolonged or causes concern, the patient must contact GESR or seek medical assistance.

13. Post-Procedure Recommendations

After a procedure, the patient must follow the specialist’s recommendations.

Failure to follow these recommendations may affect the outcome of the procedure, the recovery period and the patient’s safety.

Recommendations may vary depending on the procedure.

14. Appointment Cancellation or Rescheduling

If the patient is unable to attend an appointment, they must notify GESR in advance.

An appointment can be cancelled or rescheduled by telephone, through a messaging application, via social media, by email or through another agreed communication channel.

The patient must cancel or reschedule the appointment no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

A cancellation or rescheduling request is considered accepted once confirmed by the clinic.

15. Late Arrival

Patients must arrive at the clinic on time.

If a patient arrives late, GESR may shorten the procedure, offer to reschedule the appointment or cancel the booking if the service cannot be provided safely and to an appropriate standard.

16. Failure to Attend and Advance Payment

A failure to attend occurs when a patient does not arrive for an appointment and has not notified the clinic in advance.

If a patient fails to attend an appointment or repeatedly cancels appointments, GESR reserves the right to request an advance payment for a subsequent booking. The need for an advance payment depends on the frequency of missed or cancelled appointments, and the amount is determined individually.

17. Refunds

Refunds are available where there are grounds for a refund and the clinic has approved it.

To request a refund, the patient must submit an application to GESR. The application must state the patient’s first and last name, contact details, the date of the appointment or payment, the service concerned, the reason for the request and, where necessary, the bank details required for the refund.

If the service was not provided due to the clinic’s fault, the amount paid may be refunded to the patient.

If the service has already been provided, refund requests are considered on an individual basis. The individual outcome of a procedure, a result that differs from the patient’s expectations, or a difference between the patient’s result and photographs of other patients does not automatically entitle the patient to a refund.

Refund application review period: 1-2 days.

Refund processing time following approval: for non-cash payments, the refund is processed on the day the application is approved. For cash payments, the refund is made when the patient visits the clinic in person.

18. Photographs, Videos and Publications

GESR may take before-and-after photographs, photographs of the condition of the skin or other images required for medical documentation, evaluation of results and archival storage.

Photographs or videos of a patient may be published on the website, on social media, in advertising or in other public materials only with the patient’s separate consent.

19. Complaints and Enquiries

Patients may contact GESR with a question, complaint or claim.

Contact details for enquiries: +371 29115248, info@gesrclinic.lv, Citadeles iela 6 - 23, Riga, LV-1010.

The enquiry should state the patient’s first and last name, contact telephone number, date of the visit, name of the service, a description of the situation, and any documents or photographs relevant to the review of the enquiry.

Enquiry review period: 14 days.

20. Amendments to These Terms and Conditions

GESR may update these Terms and Conditions.

The current version is published on the website.

Any amendments take effect from the date of publication on the website, unless otherwise specified in the updated version.
